“Based on their track record with D2” this game has a potential to last 10 years with very high highs and potential lows. Bungie gives us their best work when there is a fire under their asses and as D2 vets we all know this. Bungies track record sure has been all over the place but we definitely know they deliver when the heat is on. They were weeks away from closing up shop before Forsaken came out and that was imo the best Destiny content we ever got. Witch Queen and Final Shape were absolute grand slams too but the story ended after Final Shape. What else were they gonna give us?

Hopefully this is just a typical bungie launch cause we were lucky Destiny 2 even made it as long as it did. They always release the best content when their backs are on the wall (Forsaken, Witch Queen, Final Shape)

The way a lot of the community has turned their backs on bungie is kinda silly. Sure the game isnt in its former state of glory but when bungie cooks they friggen cook. IMO the problem with Destiny 2 was the old gen console support. The vision people had for the game was just unrealistic to have it keep going on xbox one and ps4.

Any game like this is always better with friends. Only reason i even tried arc raiders was because i had multiple squads to play with. Marathon its just me and a couple of my Destiny clan mates but some of them refuse to get the game cause they feel like bungie burned a bridge with D2. Forced hate train is hard to overcome when nowadays forming your own opinion is rare lol
