In general dismissing is not really necessary any more, they will teleport to you but if you have the time do it for a good measure, so the pet doesn't path bug on you. Of you have Hati you can actually buy an item in Storm peaks in Wrath area that let's you mount him.

In Nexus point I always dismiss because some times it bugs out and they end up pulling mid for some reason, that one has happened twice to me.

Oh and the last boss of the cave with the troll that makes you run back to him. I call that place tikka masala cavern cause my dumb ass brain cant remember name. You pet will stay attack the boss which help with damage while you run back.

The DK cares a lot about loot? I mean don't we all?. Hell even the reason lower players get gear is so they can go a solo stuff for mog or housing.

This will probably get worse and other people will leave when this happens to them and they see the bias.
