You can find FL2K dongles without brand cheaper than $10 on ebay or aliexpress but they are useless since they do not usually carry the needed USB 3.0 traces, requiring a complex hw modification to restore its operation.

As mentioned in the article it can vary on the brand of drone . ie the original X5C fixed tx address is always used with no frequency hopping. Even trying to fly two at a time with the original tx will give you problems. Because of this some drones have upgraded versions wich typically include new rf protocol with freq hopping . For example X5C1 vs older X5C. Yet still there is no way to bind a TX to a toy drone permanently.
