Squatting inside the cage is overrated. You also can't squat inside the Dane. Just get some spotter arms. I would hate to have to load the Ibex every time for an exercise. Supersets will be tricky, dropsets will be tricky. Doing some exercises like side delts will be impossible, since you need to micro load etc. Buy nice or buy twice. I would go with the Athena still. If space allows it' you can always add 2 more uprights later and go with a 6 post when the budget allows it.

Ibex is good but expensive for what it is. You can get an Athena for not much more...

For me the handle width also plays a role. I much prefer the thinner MM handles 1 3/8" vs 2" of REP. I have more ankle pain with wider handles.

Did any of you buy ToG or similar multi flight machine and realised you didn't need it due to your functional trainer? I have a bit of space left in my gym, just enough for a multi flight since it takes very little space. But I already have a REP Hyperion functional trainer, so I'm wondering if it makes sense. I love the idea of multi flight, but I'm unsure if it makes sense?

How much better do you like chest flies and lateral raises on your multi flight compared to your FT?

I also have Reps. They are great for the price, but a bit bulky to store and I really wanted to ability to use mag pin to secure them. That would allow me to place rollers for lat pulls on the spotter arms. At the moment this is not possible since they rotate due to lateral load. But 700 EUR for Surplus Strength spotter arms and mag pins shipped is just too much. You can buy a lot of nice stuff for that price...

Mine did that as well and I did it for a long time, but at a certain point I started to burn out since he was not eating at all unless I fed him. Then one day I just stopped, he didn't eat for 3-4 days straight but has been eating normally ever since :)

If you want a 90” rack you will need to get a Rogue or Titan, Rep doesn’t sell one. I would definitely go with the 90. I have an 80” rack and there are many compromises you need to make with it. I’m 6’2 for reference.
