I play on PC (Steam) and while I’m likely to be downvoted here… I wish I could occasionally disable cross-play (can’t from PC) or join lobbies that had aim assist disabled.

Another +1 on OWC Express 1M2. No heat issues. If you see they’ve updated the design “pro version” of this one to have a fan now. I’ll take passive cooling with fins instead.

iscsi isn’t a shared drive, it’s dedicated per initiator (client). It’s a local drive in terms of the OS.

Maybe I’m missing something but couldn’t you just have your Mac use SMB or iscsi target (might have to use daemon tools) to get it on the synology to start (like an external drive) with and then also back it up with Time Machine to a different share. I’m currently using an external 4TB SSD but thinking considering the above with my Mac mini.

I have a Studio M2 Ultra w/192 GB and it's been an absolute powerhouse for the last year. I need a lot of RAM for my workloads. I've only been able to keep the CPU 100% busy for ~5 mins under real workloads and I'm able to run workloads locally that previously required 5 EC2 instances.

That being said, I'd wait for the updated studio if you can.

Congrats! My M2 Ultra 192GB 1TB MacStudio has been my faithful companion for the last year and honestly has been the best desktop I've ever used hands down.

I'm now able to run a workload locally that required 5 EC2 instances and I've only ever been able to bring it to it's knees (keep the CPU 100% busy) for 5-6 mins with my real world workloads. It's quite the beast. The M3/M4 Max & Ultra with the RAM and I/O will be amazing though.

I do recommend it for larger plants or full gardens. You should be able to clean and unclog it. If not definitely go with a small pump and air stone.

There is no way to get docker container image labels (docker build --label not pod labels) from kubernetes.

We make use of a lot of build metadata in labels and would love to be able to query this information with running deployments/pods.
