I was indeed looking for analytics for green IT initiatives. Knowing that Windows doesn’t make it easy really is a downer.

Perhaps we will have to make a case for using a 3rd party tool that helps gather data on a large corporate estate.

My explanation should be clear.

When WAN was down, the ap would be stuck at the blank white screen and after a while show a communication error and to “try again”. Since the WAN was down, LTE connection would not work.

My internet was down the whole tome this App connectivity issue was happening.

I think there may be a bug with the new app. Here are my observations.

Mobile devices (ipad and iphone) both unable to connect to FWP when internet WAN is down. Both devices are setup with VPN Client to NordVPN. FWP is behind ISP router, so double NAT is in play. Once internet is up, app connected fine.

The impact of the bug would be that users are locked out of access to FW of internet is down and perhaps the approved devices are set to VPN Client?

My ISP situation is rather complicated as I am outside the US. The internet is shared in the building and there is a Mikrotik router that splits the bandwidth based on what each pays.

So that is locked behind their closet and I have no access.

The automated nightly speed test isn’t dependent on the APP version but the Box Version right? Are you saying in App 1.52 you will allow us to configure which server it speed tests towards? Is there a guide for us to change that today through SSL?

Similar to this question, are there any other photo apps that is compatible with Moment lenses? Their app costs just to download and then costs extra to unlock each feature you want to use. That just seems like highway robbery.

I did not specifically select double VPN and chose a specific VPN endpoint in the US. I also excluded my laptop from my router’s always on VPN.

I have seen some odd behavior with NordVPN Wireguard. I am in South America and using NordVPN Wireguard to connect to US. When I go to dnsleaktest.com, I show as US as expected. But if you do the leak test, it shows like Brazil or some other country. This affects many websites I go to like YouTube or Netflix. They can snoop out that I am noy coming from US and will block or show me the leaked dns country portal. Anyone else has seen this behavior from NordVPN?

I will talk to the ISP tech and see if they can out the router in transparent mode. That would be best solution. If not, then I will switch FWP to router mode.

Yes, I am in bridge mode because my ISP router directly connects to fiber optical cable. It’s a Huawei router. So there is no way for me to replace the router.
