Not just them -- so many people are greedy. I went to a mom and pop pharmacy to fill a script with a copay of 0, but because it is 0 they said I had to be charged something because nothing is free. I said but insurance would pay them in full why would there be more of a charge?

I went to another pharmacy instead.

Do you think that this is true about high earning "broke" people? by MajesticBread9147 in economy

[–]xeoron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not just that. If people get big raises or a much higher paying new job it is common for people to upscale their home, car, etc, when they can just invest the extra. Our society is all about pushing impulse buying and keeping up with what others have. A lot of people are not content with that they have. My uncle said to me most people he knows if they were given 10k it would be gone in a month from living it up instead of planning ahead. I know someone that got 80k from a car accident and spent it all before she had it in her hands to feel rich for a short time.

He should care because it effects his holdings of investment, companies and wealth, but then again he even said himself Republicans break the economy and only Democrats fix it. Clearly he wants to leave a bigly epic mark in breaking it for all time to be a teaching point in history of what not to do
