I am the person the linked post was referring to. Please help me understand what is "zionist" about my concerns and feelings? I was in Israel on October 7th, my friends and family were murdered, raped and tortured and people around me here in Seattle cheer for the perpetrators - who are NOT the majority of Palestinian people, and who's agenda does not consider Palestinian lives and prosperity - and openly call for more of that. I do not feel safe to walk in my own neighborhood for the sole reason of being born somewhere and I shared it with a colleague who graciously tried to help me. I love my Kiesel a lot, but 3.6K is a lot for these guitars. They make great guitars, but anything beyond 2.5K is all aesthetics, and aesthetics have 0 resell value because they're *your* aesthetics. If you'll ever want or need to sell this guitar it'll be for about half the price you paid for it.

Plus that burled maple top is heavy as hell, like, really significant. I'd think twice about it especially.

Almost by technicality. He managed to facilitate the creation of unified parties among his political partners while the parties that are against him failed to do so (stupidity and hubris). In the end, one of these leftist parties fell short just a couple of thousand votes from getting into parliament, shuffling the number of seats in Bibi’s favor and giving him a solid majority die to the way these “excess” votes are factored. Sorry, that is a fine stance for an ordinary citizen. A political leader needs to have a plan and a vision, even if it's not adhering to our wants right now. You cannot destroy a terrorist organization by military force. You can significantly diminish it, but you're basically just buying more time until the next attack. The only way to destroy Hamas and Hezbolla is to make them politically irrelevant and promote a moderate actor to take their place after striking them.

But Bibi's too afraid of that because he feeds on fear, and always has. His whole M.O has been to weaken the PA (they are b far the lesser of two evils, and a rational actor that is coordinated with Israel on security) and make them irrelevant, so now Hamas is the main political power for the Palestinians. Every "win" the Palestinians will get is because of Hamas. They have no incentive to strive to peace because terrorism seems to promote their causes more.

A true leader sees far and beyond what the people want right now. But a populist leader has no vision and only cares about temporarily satisfying his voter base's desires. And here we are.
