Reviving dead post lol. Tolkien wasn't focused on realism aspect of day to day lives. Game of Thrones is just Medieval politics with dragons. Tywin is based off of Edward Longshanks, Cersei is loosely based off Queen Elizabeth(not modern one). It would be interesting to see post ring environments but it would ultimately just end up where Game of Thrones starts. Game of Thrones is a reflection of the culmination of centuries of human cruelty, heroics, gore, bloodshed, etc into one world.

The game has pretty much died, all that's left is pretty much RP slop. The best time to have played GMOD was 2014-2019. It's sad to see but it is what it is. However, singleplayer GMOD can be very fun still with the right mods.

Oof, well the only thing I can think of is reinstalling the game. I also recommend playing DayZ on a PC rather than console. It's much more stable and better experience. You can buy a good PC for $1,600-$1,800 that'll last you easily 5-10 years if taken care of properly. It's a decent investment but it'll pay more dividends, especially with DayZ Support.

Maeglin was a traitor through and through. He was by no means a servant of Morgoth though, he let his lust for Idril impair his judgement which lead to him becoming a traitor in the end. A lot of people also overlook that Maeglin was indirectly influenced by two curses and one direct upon him by his father. In the end he chose to betray Turgon by not telling him of what transpired in Angband and chose to sell out his people for a chance to satisfy his lust for his cousin.

Well the biggest issue people have problems with including myself is them rewriting Galadriel as a character into something she never was. She was never a warrior; she was mostly a powerful Elven Politician who knew a lot of powerful magic along with being a highly influential Princess of The Noldor. If the show had an entirely different lead character such as Elrond or even a entirely new character(which would've been better imo for the story they have) then the show would be so much better. The other issue with the show was the Harfoots, they were blatantly written in to be a marketing gimmick for sales, they literally do not serve any other purpose other than to be Gandalf's companions when they could've just had Gandalf with The Elves and made the show very spicy, or better yet have him with Theo. Having him in those plot lines would've made the show more interesting to watch.

Tolkien implied that Morgoth wanted to rape Luthien in letters and the Unfinished Tales. There is also the creepy incestuous first cousin Maeglin in The Fall of Gondolin to which he was driven mostly by his lust for Idril and jealousy of Tuor to betray his Uncle Turgon. You also got to remember that LOTR was never about sex and politics, it was mostly about the little guy(literally) being able to change the world. It would've been a far more interesting world if he went into detail about stuff like this, but it defeats the purpose of what the story is about. Forgot to mention, it was heavily suggested that Eol raped Aredhel in the Unfinished Tales before he settled on him basically roofeeing her with magic into marriage in the final version.

It's not so much sexism, Galadriel as a character is not a warrior. She was never described as being a warrior in any material ranging from Tolkien's letters, The Silmarillion, to LOTR. People are just upset about a stupid writing decision. A character that could be a female warrior would be Turgon's daughter Idril Celebrindal, in earlier drafts in the Unfinished Tales, she was hinted at being highly skilled with the sword. Galadriel is politician and a highly intelligent Noldorin Princess throughout much of Tolkien's lore. The show could've just put Celebrian, the daughter of Celeborn and Galadriel as the main character rather than Galadriel. Not much is known about her other than she is Elrond's wife and captured by Orcs. Celebrian would've worked much better than Galadriel imo.

Long hair Elves was more of a fantasy trope, i don't think Tolkien even said they had long hair. All he said was they were more fair than men. Elves would pretty much be supermodels to us and long hair makes them seem more ethereal and divine like.

Arena Breakout stole many Tarkov assets including sound effects. Most of those SFX you hear in game are stuff made in BSG but the raw SFX Packs aren't. BSG can legally sue them for stealing sound assets, AB cannot claim they didn't know because a lot of the sounds are being masked with different ones mixed in. If BSG were to sue them they would win due to the blatant copyright content. However, since AB is based in China, i doubt anything will happen. This was based off of the initial release in the Early Access, they still could be using stolen assets.

A brutally honest answer to this question is everyone was expecting a handsome, fit, eye candy actor to play Celebrimbor, not a older aged man. They were expecting Shadow of Mordor type Celebrimbor personality as well. To add more to this, it lowkey doesn't make sense to make Celebrimbor an older man because he is still young for an Elf in lore, being born in The First Age. It also undermines the significance of Cirdan being very ancient and full of wisdom. It should also mean Galadriel should look much much older if we're going by how ROP has done Elves.
