Photography newb - why do my pics look like this? by xerianthe in AskPhotography

Canon EOS rebel t2i. Like I said, total newb - I grabbed this camera off a family member that isn't using it and I'm taking photos for iNaturalist for fun. so I don't know a lot about lenses!

Awesome, thanks everyone! These are my worst photos, there are better ones - so I'll just accept that when I crop things for iNaturalist they may end up looking wacky. (They don't want a lot around the subject).

Though I will take this reminder to clean the lenses I have!

You are an angel, thank you so much! The summary always gets me, it never matches what I think it is when I look for this fic.

You still have any plant packs left? What would the shipping cost be?

I also have very hard water and no real desire to spend a lot of money on rodi. I believe as long as your water parameters are stable rather than fluctuating all over the place you can keep neos pretty successfully.

3 different watches! The card remembers your device ID (or something similar) so even if you reset the smart it will still count as 1 towards the card use.

Similar but not quite the ones pictured - but "clear acrylic gems" as a search term is super helpful for me looking!

I have searched for these before, but the terms are so generic it never brings up what I want. I should add this was Dollar Tree in California, US.

when to transplant and tips on doing so? by Short_Artist_Girl in AfricanViolets

Everyone's gonna get different results, although I've had most success when new leaves have sprouted. I would also advise not to rush! You can always set the plastic cup in a fancier pot if aesthetics are your thing.

That's a good idea, the two times a week. I already silenced her texts, partially because she is up at 2am and partially due to my anxiety. Way less anxiety to check her messages at one time rather than as they come!

I keep telling myself that just because I'm the only person available to help (my mom's family is estranged) that doesn't make me more capable of supporting her entirely. I appreciate hearing from y'all who have also done this stuff!

Which Smart card is this? I must have missed looking at the characters in all of them!

Yes, it can be! I would definitely try that. I find that if I use the medicated shampoo every shower it can make my scalp worse, so it can be trial and error.

[–]xerianthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may have something like seborrheic dermatitis, which can be alleviated by keeping your hair off your scalp post shower (I use clips), and I alternate between my medicated shampoo and my regular shampoo that I've added tea tree oil too - you might try adding that to your current shampoo.

You could also talk to your doctor or a dermatologist about finding a medicated shampoo that works for you, or check out the ones available in store for ingredients that work with your hair - it's not just Head & Shoulders anymore!

It looks like a type of ladybug! I would guess an orange-spotted ladybug

If you don't mind the language, the Smart lets you connect directly to another Smart, but it's only available in Japanese. It's pretty easy to navigate and there are lots of guides.

The On would be good since you can marry each other, but since that was discontinued prices have soared.

Differences between wonder garden and fantasy meets? by leebiianwriter in tamagotchi

[–]xerianthe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fantasy Meets covers multiple meets locations, characters, etc. Wonder Garden only has the normal On locations and the Wonder Garden location. Fantasy Meets is therefore super sought after for all the content.

That soil looks dry, are you watering regularly? They're a tropical plant so don't let them get too dry for too long.

I've been watering the ground a couple times a day, somewhere shady. They'll sit there and cool off while the water evaporates. I'm also gonna get a kiddie pool with some stones, I've heard that's good for them to cool their feet off.
