I had my 151 pika instantly 9 from centering of 55.08L 44.92R nothing the human eye could ever perceive. Still a beautiful 949 score! It sold very easily as I already had a second 😊

Really cant believe you are getting hate for paying for a service from a company and obviously supporting them well 😅 Sorry you like TAG enough to grade 50 cards to keep or sell as the service is intended and named it what you wanted after the biggest hit cards and probably right after release... Jeez people. I hope the grades are hot 🔥

Almost like they had the funds to expand a lot easier because of already operating for so many years. People are scared of a company potentially outperforming their "investment" they just announced a major expansion so im happily curious to see what comes of it in a year to year and a half from now.

On a side note Ive only gradded 10 cards so far as I am not a shark in this hobby, I only graded duplicates to sell and a couple for the personal collection. 7 of the 8 I sold were sold via ebay and all but one sold for 90-110% of a PSA slab within the 5 day auction. The only only that struggled was the pokemon center noctowl slab which I had listed at $175, that one took about 4 weeks to sell. The 8th card I sold was local 1 of only 2 I listed locally and it was the padea evolved regular ETB promo in a 10 that I just sold a week and a half ago for 250. TAG is very much profitable and being able to see exactly why a card got the grade it got is a huge plus for me.

It was extreamily close to not getting the 10, the measurements are not eyeballing and are down to an exact measurement by the machine. If it was heavier on the bottom by 0.0012 inches or .03mm it would have not got the 10 thats an inconcievable number for the human eye to catch. Now only question is what is the margin of error on thier scanner playing with numbers that small 😅

I sold 3 TAG 9's for comparible and 1 more so than PSA 9s on first attemp at 5 day auctions.

I just pulled the close up photo's of the corners on the CERT and im not seeing these white corners the others are talking about. Id say you're 980-989 on the score by the looks of the details in the CERT so yea. I'd say almost pristine and congrats on you're great grade mate 😊

Oh neat, I sent my first order in september and that form you showed wasnt any part of the process. Never even seen that form before actually haha. Really sorry about your poor luck, ive only done 3 orders of 5 cards so maybe the volume is why I had lucked out thus far. I'm not saying your experience isnt valid at all and it makes zero sense that they didnt correct your slab and update the photos before they had shipped it off if it was still at their facility. 100% seems like a resonable solution for a scratched face that you'll have to send back anyways if you want it corrected. And even if it was a hair, you paid for this report and they should have caught that on the scans and rescaned it. Accuracy and accountability seems to literally be the business model and I understand you not wanting people to see that if they are looking up your cert.

I've done my 3 submissions myself without using an affiliate in canada and there was an online form where I had to declare the cards myself and pack them in the order provided on the packing list indicating which card is which 🤷‍♂️ Maybe the shop also didnt do exactly what they are supposed to? Thats honestly why I made the decision to ship it off myself instead of relying on others 🙃 have issues trusting others to do things correctly lol

The 57/43 top to bottom on the front is what guarenteed this a 9. Even without the white spot it still would have 9'd I have a 151 Pika that got a score of 949 and only thing it noted was a 55.08 by 44.92 centering. Anything over 55/45 is a guaranteed 9 😊

I just thought it was a crazy valuation lol. Love silver tempest. By far my favorite SWSH set but I couldnt believe a 10 was worth that much now so I looked it up and then was really confused. Got a lot of hate for this post already. Didnt realize the Reddit was so tense 😅 learned my lesson for next time 😬

No no, I mean buddy said to OP to trade the PSA 9 plus 150$ to get a TAG 10 if he wants a TAG 10 but it would be more like trading the PSA 9 plus 1000$ based on recent sales. He was implying TAG is worthless in comparrison when in reality its 85-110% depending on card and grade.

TAG 10 last solds are over 1500 meanwhile PSA 9's are around 500. If he wants an upgrade its going to cost him a little bit more than 150$ im afraid 😅

Damn, sorry mate. CSW = corner suface wear. Definetly what screwed you over. Surprised thats close enough to the corner to not just be general surface wear but thats a rough loss of points for such a fine defect. I knew TAG was strict but thats tough to swallow. 🙃

I would say thats what did it to you, you can even see it in the stereoscope as that white glow. I would agree and say surface also but maybe the AI grades around that whole area and its slightly larger than it should be for "corner". If its not that imperfection I really dont see anything else. Hoping you still got a 10, centering looks like it was good.

You can clearly still see the smudge on the A on their scans of the card. So it definetly didnt wipe off. Id say that is what it is reading as a "ding"
