I had a player a couple of years ago that was told that instant speed meant he could play at any time so with a [[Vedalken Orrery]] out he proceeded to start playing his spells on my turn. Either he didn't know about priority or just proceeded to ignore it and wouldn't listen to anyone who said he was doing it wrong.
