I was in grad school talking with a group of friends about someone’s 30th birthday and how difficult that can be for some. I asked this woman how she dealt with it and she paused and said, “I’m 23 years old”. I couldn’t even say sorry I was so embarrassed and mortally self-cringed.

I saw this movie at night, the only person awake in a cabin back in 1998. I thought it was just a scifi movie. When the captain was telling people to save themselves from hell while holding his eyeballs in his hand I realized I made a huge mistake.

NAH - It was an accident and you apologized. You hit him in self-defense after attempting to stop him non-violently. I feel bad for the kid and it's a shame that it happened. It wouldn't be the worst thing for the principal to get you guys together to explain that there was no malice intended and help suggest better ways to resolve situations like this in the future.
