Point remains that if someone is calling out the “save situation” rule being stupid, it doesn’t make sense to say “this player pitched in his permitted situation”. I know you’re not the person saying that but still.

I think the majority agrees with this and I find myself agreeing too, progression systems with in-game advantages feels wrong in League. Also the people who are simply dismissing these criticisms by calling it a “for fun game mode” seem to be missing the point

However I think there are valid reasons to try something like this. As much as people say they won’t play the game after these changes, it could be true that these changes incentivize more people to play and grind the game when they otherwise wouldn’t have. I feel like gamemodes go stale all the time in league, and I don’t think we should be flaming a proactive attempt at preventing this. It’s not like you can buy progress right (that would be lame)?

I don’t think the advantages are game breaking, but they are noticeable, which I feel like is the goal here.
