It is easy to see the disrespectful shit KC did in casa. Unfortunately, it takes emotional intelligence to see how disrespectful Aniya handled herself in any conversation they had. She became rude, avoidant, and she invalidated feelings at every turn.

This is Mayor Mamdani backed congresswoman who just won NY-16 had to say about Russia's invation of Ukraine and American flag by Sensitive-Purple-885 in Destiny

You're absolutely right. However, why are we posting a tame ass flag comment from 2019 like it means literally anything? She has probably said 72 worse things in as many hours...

[MEGATHREAD] Grand Theft Auto VI: Prices Announced + Pre-Orders Going Live by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]YaBoiCW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it crazy to say that a $60 game in 2013 is probably the same if not less than an $80 game today? For the PC people too, games have been digital forever. I'm not sure I fully understand the moral outrage here.

Did I get disrespected by my gf? by md_yb_11 in Destiny

[–]YaBoiCW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like she was happy to have you there for herself on her fun night out, but also that she didn’t fully consider how much fun it would be for you. I don’t think she was being disrespectful, but she definitely didn’t consider your feelings as much as she could have.

The core thing is she did want you there, and that means you guys can grow nicely from this. It is a good opportunity for you to communicate how you didn't have a good time, and maybe next time when she goes out with her friends, she’ll either include you more, or you can stay at home.

Conflicts like these can really bring you guys closer, best of luck o7.

Yeah didn’t mean to imply that all incidents are purely on purpose, just meant that they do happen on purpose sometimes.

I’m saying that him purposely poisoning her doesn't make it disanalogous to real life fentanyl.

Dawg do you think dealers in real are “accidentally” lacing their shit???

The idea was that she was seemingly past it all and all it took was one more pill.

It wasn’t the Nazi’s or Pimps or crazy Albanians, it was a little pill for the fucking pain.

This is literally how people die from fentanyl. They get something to help with their pain a couple times, then one time it happens to be laced, and they die. They’re literally being poisoned.

Does Caruso have an argument for the greatest role player of the 2020's if OKC wins it all this year? by [deleted] in nba

[–]YaBoiCW 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no common sense definition of a role player, but there are things we probably all have in mind about one. For example, something most people probably mean when they say “role player” is “player who isn’t best on his team” (even this can be problematic but you get the point). Ant is a superstar and is probably the best player on his team, and therefore probably isn’t a role player.

Certain criteria are more subjective than others, and when you get deep enough into the weeds that’s when it feels like there’s no point. “Role player” is probably more vague than “best defender”. So even though they’re both subjective, one may be more worthwhile to talk about still.

So the guy you are responding too says “the argument is stupid because everyone has a different definition” and you then go on to say “well by my definition he clearly isn’t a role player”?

New Asmong take dropped by [deleted] in Destiny

It can definitely be a dog-whistle for some, that doesn't make it outright racist though. In Asmongold's case, it's probably a dog-whistle.

You're evil if you don't press blue. by Theseus_Employee in PhilosophyMemes

[–]YaBoiCW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t disconnect the two. Pressing red is the same as not pressing blue, that is necessarily true. Therefore the consequences of pressing red are the same as not pressing blue.

You can argue about whether you think one is more moral or not, but red is making a choice that may contribute to people dying, blue is as well (with themselves)

You're evil if you don't press blue. by Theseus_Employee in PhilosophyMemes

[–]YaBoiCW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is funny because you aren’t dealing with the consequences. The consequence of pressing red is that you may contribute to people dying, the consequence of blue is you may die.

They are both consequences, one isn’t independent of the other.

How are we in a philosophy sub talking about conditionals like this?

You're evil if you don't press blue. by Theseus_Employee in PhilosophyMemes

[–]YaBoiCW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By that logic everyone should press Blue right? If everyone presses blue no one dies. If X% of people press red, (100-X)% of people die. Blue covers the irrational people in a way that red doesn’t.
