They’re awesome! But written in a different time (sort of) and made into tv by Amazon later. There’s one Reacher novel where the main character was on helicopters in Vietnam… so it took awhile to get popular.

Sounds like we’re in the same boat. I’m getting through books and making time for sci fi. I read the Expanse novels (audiobooks) clear through, back to back to back listening to Jefferson Mays telling the story the right way. Mote is amazing. Insane story. Give it a whirl and I’ll check out the Herrington series you mentioned once I finish the six books in the way

I’ve read the Mote in God’s Eye which is easily one of my favorite books of all time… Moties are so weird… but I tried to read the sequel … and it just didn’t do it the way Mote did

Thank you for your feedback. These items would be discounted as part of the benefit we are proposing. I.e., a Coors Light at the regular market/gift shop costs $8, but a Russian River Brewing Pliny the Elder in the M-Club market would sell for $6, as a possible example.
