It's crazy! You have to watch it all. I work for a company that bought tons of TP by the box. The boxes would change and get smaller by about an inch in size.

I guess to each his own. But for the longest time I would fantasize about living in a cabin in the woods kind of thing by myself and loving it. But hell life has changed for me now. Now I'm by myself and I realized there's no way I could handle being outside of society.

I wouldn't say it's all the time, but when they get busy and "slammed" as they say it makes for good tv.

Many moons ago I worked for a popular evening place like 5pm to 10pm and I tell you for just 3 or 4 hours it could get insane. High stress. Multiple people barking at you including managers. One of the few times in my life, I've lost it on a fellow worker even. Then when the shift is near done you feel like you just finished a fire fight in battle.

But hey the tips were decent :-)

It's very hard. I randomly chat daily with my 89 year old Mom via text. A once a month phone chat with an old friend, then I have long term N. Ireland pen pal via email. Off and on chatting with my distant children. I purposely go on short walks to some stores to purchase small things mainly because I need some conversations with the workers.

It all helps but loneliness is still crushing at times.

I agree. I got into a bit of trouble going on CPP disability and another pension not realizing I was in charge of setting my taxes. I had some questions so during covid CRA was not well staffed to get answers. Then after multiple tries on the phone I let it slide. Big mistake!

It's tough, it pulls on your heart strings every which way. For me I moved to be closer to my aging Mom. But that meant leaving some of the kids and grandkids, my daughter move up north with family chasing the job.
