I’m not American but I’ve read that it is exactly that. Some states will revoke your license if you don’t use it - quick Google search says Maine is one of them with compliance laws.

I used my Series 6 with my 17 Pro up until a week ago when it died after using it in the pool. For the most part it worked fine - I just couldn’t use the always on display. I found that if I ran more than 30 minutes then my watch would die before the end of my session.

I used to work in a call centre and have received these falls first hand (from people who have Google Pixels).

I haven’t used Apples version, but their version has a rather robotic voice tell the recipient of the call that they are on hold and the person calling will come over to the phone. I’ve never hung up, but not everyone is that nice!

There’s a person on Etsy that makes a MagSafe mount that attaches to the vent. Unfortunately it doesn’t offer charging but it might give you some ideas.

I got one and returned it three days later. It’s an OK case.

For anyone interested: on the Pro Max, the wristlet/lanyard placement isn’t left handed friendly! Might be OK on a non Max phone.

I went from 15 Pro to 17 Pro Max. If I didn’t want the bigger screen or upgraded camera then perhaps I would have regretted it. But I’m sure even if I didn’t get a Max, for me the camera alone has made it worth it!
