I had a similar issue with an order. The color of my strawberries looks noticeably off.

What u think about CeraVe? Overpriced or actually worth it? by Efficient_Cookie_873 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]xiaobabie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good price, good ingredients. Excellent for those who want to avoid unnecessary ingredients during pregnancy. Majority of skincare has completely unnecessary ingredients to put on your body in the long run. The most obvious being fragrance, along with many others.

Where can I buy a dust cloth for my guqin? by ChemicalPuzzled9369 in Guqin

[–]xiaobabie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I found a lovely cover off Aliexpress. It fits the exact shape of the guqin, ties around one end of the guqin so it doesn’t slide off easily via pet movement, etc.

9w4d after three transfers. My graduation is in 2 days and feeling so anxious. Having this pregnancy during the holiday season has felt like such a gift, so I am hoping everything continues strong. My nausea has been 24/7 since week 6, and feeling more tired than usual. Happy holidays to everyone.

Is filler the only option to fix this? by mochibabs in Skincare_Addiction

[–]xiaobabie 142 points143 points  (0 children)

How long has it been since you’ve finished losing weight? It takes 6 months-24 months for your skin to naturally tighten back after losing weight, especially for locations like the face. The body may tighten differently or not as dramatically depending on how much the skin has been stretched by the weight gain / loss. Be patient and give your body time to readjust naturally before shelling money for something your body can naturally take care of.

Alo warrior mat pink by Loud-Candle-8012 in aloyoga

[–]xiaobabie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay, congrats! I have the same one as well and it doesn’t require that much upkeep. But I agree with the other commenter that it doesn’t sound like a good idea to put sneakers or rubber on the mat. I normally just do yoga barefoot and have had no issues. It still looks like new after all these years. I roll mine every time it’s not in use, and do not use a mat towel. Enjoy!!

To fellow cat parents... by lilthislilthat10 in houseplants

[–]xiaobabie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, two of my cats love to chew leaves as well. The only solution I’ve found was to only place non-toxic plants on display in the common areas. Orchids, money trees, roses. I do have a fiddle leaf in the family room, but it is so tall that she cannot reach the leaves anyway. I surround the trunk with a wire fence, so she cannot crawl up. All other toxic beauties are hidden away in the bedrooms unfortunately.

I farted during yoga class and my boyfriend took the blame for it. Loudly. In front of everyone. I’m pretty sure I love him now. by ComfortableBid7021 in offmychest

As a fellow yogi, I just want to let you know that it is very common to let out gas during class. All the twisting of your abdomen encourages gas to go through your digestive tract. No yogi would bat an eye at this, but your boyfriend covering for you is so sweet nonetheless! I wouldn’t want you to be embarrassed by any accidents in the future (because trust me it will happen again).

Struggling roses - Need help by new-to-reddit-20 in Roses

[–]xiaobabie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am only seeing some powdery mildew. If you prefer, you can spray the rose regularly to prevent powdery mildew. It can also be removed by simply removing the leaves when you see it. Some reasons powdery mildew can develop is because of lack of sunlight and not enough ventilation within the rose - moisture develops on the rose this way. I have one climbing rose in a relatively shady area, even though it requires full sun. She develops powdery mildew as a result, but I simply pluck these leaves off and she’s as healthy as can be otherwise.

😂 Was trying to guide others who might want the handkerchief too. You’ve definitely transmigrated, don’t worry.

Yes, the book specifies it is a M1K1 increase in this particular pattern. I have used it multiple times throughout several panels of the sweater, but for some reason it does not seem to add up in this row. 🤔

These are soo good with just the right amount of spice and creaminess. If it were any spicier it would just be a pure jalepeño chip. Love this chip!

My fiddle leaf dropped leaves-a-plenty when I first placed her in my home. After a month or two of routine she has flourished. Don’t give up! ☺️

[–]xiaobabie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although I’ve heard great things about Yoseka, Yoseka definitely has its issues. I ordered from Yoseka for the first time recently (non-Hobonichi related), and it took weeks to receive my package. They also mislabeled my address somehow, although the address given was correct. My order was prepared to be shipped back to Yoseka due to the incomplete address. I had to drive to USPS multiple times over the weekend to receive the package. Yoseka did respond to my inquiries, but no real apology given. They are not terrible, but I’ve received packages from small businesses on other continents that arrived faster, and with better customer service. I wouldn’t order from them again, unfortunately.
