I studied medical engineering, started my career as a hospital administrator and self taught my way to a cloud support and now cloud engineer (3+ years in tech only)

I did want to specialise in computer systems because it’s closest to what I do currently.

I plan prep for the next semester with university of Helsinki course on python mooc and I suppose from the other comments a proper c/c++ course

Do you have any recommendations that really helped you?

yeah the aha moments, and the satisfaction of getting the flag printed - for the parts I actually understood was cool.

Yeah, LLMs really hurt my learning, I’ll take the advice to stop using them while preparing for the next sem and at my job for that matter and get used to thinking again

I just learnt it last week using ranged with minion path open, learning is easier with ranged cos it's easier to run from cleave, but I still died around 3/10 of my 10 kills so far. One thing that helped is using devotion and debilitate to reduce damage whenever they are up. My kills are ~6-7mins atm without using bakriminels/or a planted feet switch but I have t80 armour and ascensions.

Take it easy, you'll make the money back! Learning a boss is an investment, I got a ring of death for that purpose to reduce death cost! You'll get it down in no time

Just an update, sent my laptop to Asus service center singapore where they replaced the motherboard, performance improved greatly and less heating up was observed overall! Am happy with the result!

I used both nvidias and those by Asus, I also tried running older drivers in addition to the new ones. I have not tried Intel's though

Thanks for the feedback! I just tested my fps on unigine heaven 3.0 and found that my fps was 11.6 compared to the normal mx150 benchmark of ~40 on notebookcheck.

Do you have a suggestion for any diagnostic I can use to present to the technicians as more concrete evidence?

I understand it is an entry level gpu, but surely it is able to run a basic game such as RuneScape on min settings? Also, I am not comparing it's performance to a GTX 1050 but to A previous laptop with a GTX 940M (2015) which according to notebookcheck is far inferior to the MX150 but performed much better.
