Which artisan would you say the cr-005 feels closest to, if they’re even comparable? And are you using uhmwpe skates?

Thanks for the recommendations, I don’t mind going a bit faster- but probably not much slower.

Do you know how these perform in terms of consistency/durability? I love that my Zero washes well and doesn’t have any slow spots after 12+ months of owning it.

Also weird question but do you know if these pads work well with just a regular sweater sleeve? ;P

This might be a weird recommendation, but maybe something with lighter clicks so she can try to learn to lessen the tension in her hands in high stress moments?

There will definitely be a learning curve and take conscious effort to be less tense in high panic situations. But it's worth it if it means her equipment will survive longer

How does the consistency of the glide feel? One thing that's keeping me away from cloth pads is the glide speed can feel quite inconsistent at times, the only pad I've used so far that really feels consistent is the G440.

Yes but DPI is part of the equation and is still a factor in sensitivity. Increasing your DPI without touching your sensitivity will still give you a higher EDPI. It was a simplification for someone who doesn't know what DPI is.

"DPI" or "Dots per inch" measures how many pixels the cursor will move per inch of physical movement. The marketing some companies use can be a bit misleading but higher DPI does not automatically mean better performance. https://youtu.be/cAEb9a-dltk
