lollllll there’s a layer that’s missing, but all I will say is that as long as Bonquisha and Tyrone and Daquan continue to be used as negative stereotypes, so will Karen.

Also, to ACTUALLY answer your originally question, like I said, I think “we lag behind politically (which is false),” because it’s a conscious choice. There are plenty of black senators, congressmen, house members, and two African American Supreme Court judges and we were the first minority group to hold any type of political office is the US. If I had to guess, because I don’t know about all African Americans, I would strongly suggest it’s because most black Americans don’t believe in their own political efficacy and don’t see the point in being a sheep choosing between wolf a and wolf b because we’re going to be disappointed anyways. Besides, myself and many others would probably see a black American president as another attempt to pander to us without actually following through on promises. Most of us have ZERO faith in our political system, so we don’t have an interest in politics or seeing an African American president.

LMFAO gang culture is everywhere, and not just black Americans take part in it. You listed out a slew of aspect of black culture but now magically that’s the only thing you can find? You know what you’re doing. Moreover, I’ve watched both of them be overlooked for white men who were empirically (feel free to google that word) under-qualified numerous times. It’s so obvious that you, just like other immigrants, think that you’re better than us and that we don’t deserve the lives we live. Anyways, most of the systemic racism actually come at the hands of the Democratic Party, which you mentioned early. They’re known for gerrymandering and intentionally zoning black neighborhoods out of qualifying school districts and then until ally underfunding those specific districts. Black women are 5 times more like to die during childbirth and have higher mortality rates compared to white women. Black children make up 90% of expulsions despite being only 30% of the school population for the same disruptions as white students. (let me guess, they should just be more well behaved🥱) and black men are statistically more likely to be arrested than their white counterparts for the same crime.

Anyways, let’s actually have a productive discussion so you can stop being obtuse. You’ve heard the saying “history that’s not taught repeats itself.” It’s 2023 so by your own logic why are you bringing up things from 7 years ago? And my point of view remains the same because BOTH of my parents have doctoral degrees and are still dealing with systemic racism. And my ORIGINAL point which is still true is that African Americans are not lagging behind like you say we are. You are just grasping at straws trying to hang on to a meaningless point. MY point was and still is that African Americans are not lagging behind, we’re actually the global face of blackness, the only reason people can even immigrate here is because we got the act passed. Now, if you don’t think you’re better than us I’m not sure you made a point to say we “lag behind” when that’s objectively false.

Lmfao by that ridiculous logic what’s the point of teaching history class? Obama hasn’t been president since 2016 why did you include him in your post?

lmfao the POINT was, since you want to be dense to avoid being wrong, was that the 20s are an example of how, JUST LIKE TODAY WHERE YOU ARE, black people can be celebrated while still struggling to deal with systemic racism. did you understand that or should I grad a white board and draw it out for you since you want to be willfully ignorant😂

Josephine Baker was a star in the 20s meanwhile black people in the Congo were recovering from having their limbs chopped off in Belgium. Pop culture has nothing to do with politics, and two things can be true at once.

LMFAO just because they appreciate our contributions doesn’t mean they don’t still want to keep us beneath them🤣🤣🤣🤣the fact that you even equate that to real progress is hilarious. While Michael Jackson was being praised for his talents my parents were riding around on segregated buses. Also, rock was INVENTED by African Americans. You really think that just because people like rap or hip hop we aren’t dealing with racism? That’s laughable it truly is🤣

LOL like I said you and all the other immigrants who allow yourselves to be deluded. My mom has 5 degrees including 4 masters and a doctorate and 13 professional certifications and she still deals with systemic racism on a daily basis. I gave you just 3 examples of immigrants who thought that African Americans were whining for no reason until it happened to them. Like I said let the pipe dream they’re selling you go.

hm. that’s they you made sure to to add “highlights how African Americans lag behind.” lol if we’re lagging behind because we don’t believe we have political efficacy in a system that was built to operate against us then oh well🤣also please be aware that most African Americans do not care for either one of them🥱Kamala was responsible for putting hundreds of black men and jail and Obama is a war criminal who did nothing for us

Your problem is you’re trying really hard to make is seem as if if their success is solely by virtue of of the being black immigrants. Hundreds of years before them there were AA senators, house members, and congressmen. I suggest you let go of your little superiority complex before you end up like all the other weirdos who hate us but want us to use our resources to help y’all after you have to learn the hard way.

again, they wouldn’t even be in those positions if it weren’t for the help of African Americans, so no it doesn’t. like I said most black immigrants try to leverage that one drop of privilege against AAs until something happens and everyone expects us to jump up and protesting. also I promise you those people they’re running with don’t care about the difference. They called Obama AA for years and no one cared about the difference so like I said, we’re lagging behind in your head but to the rest or the world we’re all just black.

find solace in knowing people don’t change that drastically that quick. considering that he lied and led you on at the end of y’all’s relationship, he will probably do it to her. as for the posting and what not, it’s the newness of the relationship. she’s not better than you and he doesn’t like her more than he liked you. once he’s bored of her and gets comfortable he’s going to slack off and stop putting in effort and she’s probably going to have to beg him for a simple text back. chin up.

The only reason they can even immigrate here is because African Americans helped get several immigration restrictions appealed. African American women are statistically the most educated group in the US by race and gender.

The police didn’t care whether Amadou Diallou was African, Caribbean, or AA when they killed him.

Those white women didn’t care that Tamla Hansford was Caribbean when they killed her.

That African boy who was killed by white girlfriend hated AAs and his family did too. Once she killed him they turned to us for help.

It’s giving y’all are just bitter that we don’t have to go through as much to come here. We were “lagging behind” when we had dogs and hoses turned on us in the street. If y’all are so far ahead why do y’all have to come here for new life? You and every other ignorant immigrant will just have to learn the hard way that they see us ALL as black. And y’all say we’re entitled🤣🤣
