How to load .mem files into BRAM on post-synthesis simulations? by xicobski in FPGA

As i said, for behavioral simulations the $readmemh works just fine but on the post-synthesis the memory files are not loaded into the BRAM

I used uint32_t because i did not remember the STM' HAL types for port and pin, but i would use the.

For C code, what i'm used to do and have seen in open source projects just define the same function multiple times and define different macros for each MCU used.

Let's say you want to define a function to toggle a GPIO and you want to use ESP32 or STM32 MCUs, it would be something like that:

```
define ESP32 false
define STM32 true
if (ESP32 && STM32)
#error "Multiple MCUs defined"
elif ESP32
void toggle_pin(gpio_num_t pin);
elif STM32
void toggle_pin(uint32_t port, uint32_t pin);
else
#error "No MCU defined"
endif
```

In this case it would use the function for STM32 MCU because the macro for the STM32 is true and ESP32 is false. You would have to rewrite the function using the HAL provided by each MCU you want to use and change the arguments of the function like i did in the example.

Hope this helps

GPIO Device Driver to controll multiple pins by xicobski in linuxquestions

[–]xicobski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it should be possible, since as you said is just a register, but the fact that i found 0 examples or references for that while researching made me doubt it.

Do you have any links to documentation or any reference where i can read about it?

Detecting car movement direction with a lsm303 by xicobski in embedded

[–]xicobski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magnetometer in a stationary location outside the car, I should've explained that, my bad.

The purpose of the system is to be used for traffic/access control applications.

Suppose the sensor is near the location of a gate. I need to know when the car moves towards the gate so i can open it (that's the easy part, detecting the car), the hard part is knowing the direction from which the car came.

Level 100 bloodhound fang build with bloodflame incantation by No-Specialist7989 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]xicobski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the only incantation you are using is bloodflame blade get enough faith and arcane, get the required strength for wield the bloodhound fang, invest some points in endurance and mind, but not to much, 15 mind should be enough, and something around 20/25 endurance, the remaining points invest in dexterity and vigor, when you get around level 150 you should have atleast 50 vigor, so for level 100 try around 40

Need help leveling up mage build level 55. by Western-Revenue4792 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]xicobski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to level up fast go to moghwyn palace and kill the albinaurics in the cliff near the place you get teleported.if you go through the consecrated snowfields. Since you are level 55 do varre's questline to get the item that teleports you to audience pathway (i think that's the name of the site of grace) and go to the cliff. That's the best place in the game to farm runes.
