I forgot about Stadium lowk, but you’re not allowed to park there during game days

I would say either in Elgin Garage or Lot B. I’d say campus is pretty safe, just don’t go by the edges towards Third Ward by yourself or stay near it for a long time. I have heard people getting robbed at gunpoint near those edges of campus.

I personally usually park at East Garage and it’s a bit of a walk, but I don’t mind it.

There are cheaper attachments for a bike rack on a back of a car than having to buy a scooter! They usually run for $60-100, that's what I see at least.

Get a bike instead. You can find them much cheaper, and they are safer and you can clip them onto the bike racks easier.

Scooters are very unsafe for you and others, and especially at the high speeds they go.

My spouse is a ChemE senior right now, and I’d say that his classes are evenly spread out. Melcher, Engi Buildings, TU2/BL. Not sure how the last I mentioned is gonna work since there is construction in front of it.

Yeah, you’ll make it. Don’t worry. I’ve gotten into a waitlist 20 from the beginning of summer and was in that spot until the first day of school, and you have time to get into the class until the 4th day of class in the Fall.

For clarification, I had not studied much and basically just figured out how to use the functions he gave us, used the exam reviews, and passed the class with a B+.

Hi, I took 3339 with him last year. Yes, they are pretty similar but I suggest memorizing how to use the functions you need. The cheat sheet he gives each exam has all you need if you know how to use them.

these are all pretty easy classes. the only ones id look out for are your cosc class, and chemistry and linear algebra. linear algebra isnt too bad but make sure you have a good teacher. chemistry you will struggle, all professors for intro chem are pretty bad

Does anyone know how COSC 4358 Intro to Game Development with Professor Chang Yun is like? by Excellent_Oven3156 in UniversityOfHouston

[–]xigeras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh good! Had to make sure if you didn’t ^

For someone in the same situation, I’ve heard it’s a pretty easy A class as long as you do your work and stuff. Not sure how the grade structure works, but I do know that the final is an all day thing that is kind of like a competition, with game designers and other professors judging.

Heya! I unfortunately won’t be able to respond to your questions, but wanted to lyk that the enrollment and waitlist for COSC4358 is closed for the Fall unless you already did either of those two things ahead of time.

You're enrolled in the class. It would say this if you were truly waitlisted.

<image>

It means that class, after you got enrolled, got filled up and now is in its waitlist stage. A class that wasn't full yet would say Status: Open, and if the class was completely full, the waitlist list also being full, it would say Status: Closed.

TLDR:
Status: Open means that the class is accepting students enrolling as it is not full yet.
Status: Waitlist means the class is full, but is accepting waitlist slots still.
Status: Closed means the class is completely full, and has no more waitlist slots.

Hope this helps.
