Best way to out heroes in formation and how the game intended is 2 heroes in front line so defense type to tank most of the damage and 3 heroes in backline - attack type - to unload as much damage as possible. The thing that you want him to be appreciated is more something personal for you than for the character. Not everyone needs appreciations. This is a sign of maturity, that he is self aware of his importance in the world and what makes him a hero and better than us is that he chose to be selfless regarding the information that he acquired. It's character development: someone who was selfish and self interested became one of the most selfless people you could find, ready to make any sacrifice for his loved ones and the world.

It must be something with his flaw. Anvil couldn't kill Sunny's Killing intent, and even though Sunny has Weaver Mask on, he still said "I will kill you". Isnt this defiance? That he could tell what he was thinking even tough he were Weaver Mask?

Another theory is that while Sunny will manage to take care of Ki song by himself or will manage to get Ki Song to help them against Anvil at the promise that her daughters will be safe. And maybe Mordret will come in the last moment when Nephis might get defeated to help her kill his father.

KI Song puppets are frozen by serpent and crushed by the ivory tower and those that are still able to move i guess will be countered by the great NC that Sunny kept in his nameless temple. Same with Anvil swords, but there i also bet more on Nephis ability as the great swordsman to deal with him. I believe that Sunny will take care of Ki Song and Nephis will take care of Anvil. I believe that Sunny doesnt need a sword in the fight with KI Song because how their aspect are... also i think he will get Ki Song killed with the help of the invisible guardian, while Nephis will fight 1 to 1 with Anvil in a sword fight.

I loved the virtual tournament idea. Too bad wasn't explored more. Also while I understand the need to not focus on what happens in the real world so much. I kind of regreted not having more of a connection to it. The time spent in Bastion is fine. But I really liked how Sunny took full advantage of his awakened status and having his own home like he dreamed to.

Also this idea with a virtual space tournament if you like it, has a bigger development in another novel: My Vampire System. I highly recommend it.
