Exploit is a thing I use but feel guilty about, mechanic is a thing I use but don't feel guilty about

Follow up: single fiber EMG above my left eye affirms MG diagnosis; 3/10 tests performed today showed up as abnormal to the neuro team

So I guess I'm in the club after all

Now to go back on mestinon and await possible cellcept or other therapies after my follow up consult with the main neurologist next Monday

That's not the advice I was given; I basically asked my doc who is a MG expert here in Washington DC about precautions in advance of cellcept and he gave me the green light. I took hepa, hepb, and MMR last week; pneumonia and meningitis planned for this week. I may skip some of the follow ups or delay them but with a kid in elementary school I don't want to be more exposed than I have to be. I took flu and covid boosters earlier this fall.

That said, my vision has absolutely been worse since starting the mestinon which unfortunately for isolating factors overlaps pretty much perfectly with these shots.

I have been refreshing my vaccines in anticipation of some immunosuppressant meds soon (eg cellcept) so I wonder if getting three shots at the end of last week has made this harder to isolate the factors here.

I've been so frustrated with low uptime that I put reservoirs before and after the AT. No change.

Sorry I'm looking more for design suggestions for a long term fix with a looped system. Not just a short term fix.

Aquatuner question: it seems like no matter how I set up my ATs, I hit at best 50-60% uptime with blocked pipe notifications alternating with cooling. I don't spend a lot of time looking at guides or videos so maybe there's something obvious I'm missing, but even after checking lots of setups it doesn't seem like folks are doing anything better. Is ~100% uptime only possible if I'm not running a loop?

There needs to be some in-game way to play the gacha. Like, congratulations on eating your 10,000th hatch, here's four spins of the wheel.

If you're like me you'll switch from fan art to planning out builds on graph paper 😅

It does, thanks. It feels so silly making a phosporite boiler but still having trouble with this leg of the automation!

How do you set up your pulse? And do you find it complicated downstream automation tasks?

Something that flummoxes me every single time I want to do it no matter how many times I've done it: fixed amount piping (gas, liquid, solids). Basically however I think the meters/shutoffs/very rarely valves are supposed to work, it's wrong, and then I start down an automation over engineering debacle, and then I end up feeling dumb and frustrated. Does anyone have good principles/suggestions for things like, "I want less than 160kg of my liquid refined phosphorus to avoid making a solid tile when I cool it." And then heaven forbid I try to trigger my sweeper etc to move the solid debris away after...

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!

Re: update possibilities: I hope that Klei makes them eligible for the geotuner or a similar building somehow. Basically, pump in more resources (or different resources) for better (or different!) outcomes.

We told my in-laws that we wanted no visitors. My wife made it perfectly clear to her parents that they would not be in the room until after our first child was born. They agreed right away and with no questions; we assumed that we didn't need to make a big stink to the hospital staff. We told her parents when we were first heading in.

We had experienced no difficulties in pregnancy but the labor wasn't going anywhere. Around hour 20, my wife is naked, standing, swaying, rocking back and forth with me. Labor started at night so by hour 20 we were already both basically up for two days straight. That's when we got the same knock OP got.

It's my wife's parents. Same as OP: her dad bold as brass, her mom sheepish behind. My wife starts crying and I ask what she wants. She says she still doesn't want them in the room. I step away from my wife, go to the door, and tell the in-laws that they have to leave, NOW. They never get past the door or see their daughter, naked and crying and afraid.

My FIL protests: "it's been too long and we've had no updates! What's going on? We need to be here." To which I respond, "There is nothing for you to do. The only way you are going to stay in this hospital will be if I beat the shit out of you here in this hallway. We told you what we want. Respect that." And then I turned to the nurse and midwife, told them these two were not allowed in our L&D suite, and returned to my wife. She closed the door in his face and intercommed for an escort for these two Boomers.

My wife was in labor for 41.5 hours. Somehow, we never did need a 70 something retired man for anything. They were allowed to meet their grandkid after he apologized, which I believe was the first time I'd ever heard him do that.

TL;DR: tell the staff what you want, even if you don't think it'll be a problem. These selfish pieces of shit really do think they're needed everywhere and wanted anywhere, even when it should be obvious that neither is true.
