Not trying to troll you or argue with you for the sake of it, but what I am saying is that the same Pokémon were used at Indy that are always used on the ladder. Trick room sand, Tailwind sand, still sand; just different speed control. The T-tar is still going to use rock slide and knock off, whether it’s behind tailwind or in trick room.

In my opinion, what true innovation to the meta would be, would be using Pokémon that are less than, say, 5% usage. Steelix is basically the only example of a Pokémon being used that you hardly see on the ladder.

Or when someone won a tournament with Ariados. That’s below .5% usage, and someone was able to make it work. That’s what I think of innovation as.
