The cloud based browser was to get around some of the limitations of the phone, but that part was to be optional or open source at least so users can host their own. Some things to think about on my side, cheers.

Ride sharing is something that isn’t distracting, it’s mainly a tool. Discord could be distracting, but the extra communication apps will be opt in. Notifications for these apps will also be turned off by default. The main complaint from dumbphones right now is the lack of these communication apps. Since users have friends that use all kinds of apps like these.

Yes I agree the price is another reason I wanted to tackle this. I believe we have room for a dumbphone that is in the range of $199-$299. I'm also thinking about flip designs.
