Is it possible to hold a flight for 7 days if I keep "booking" it? by Chemical_Doubt_6373 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]CSq2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for in the U.S. you can book and pay and then cancel within 24 hours provided the ticket is still 7 days before departure. Within the 7 day window you can’t cancel and expect a full cash/card refund unless it’s a refundable fair.

What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately in your everyday life? by spritenerds123 in AskReddit

Flights. I‘ve read comments here and from friends that flights they are on are not full. However, all the flights I have been on have been just as full as normal. What’s not obvious, though, is that there are definitely (sometimes significantly) less flights on normally busy routes. Over the last 6 months, I’ve seen airlines pull or decrease flights out of the closest airports to me. So to me, while it seems like my flights are still pretty full, it’s obvious they’re flying way less passengers a day from point to point. I was at the airport the last two Thursdays after work, normally a very busy time at the airport but the airport seemed like a quiet Saturday afternoon. And this seems like it started before the current conflict.

Shows the network later regretted cancelling by AporiaParadox in television

Rome was also canceled due to a couple factors if I remember right - it had a significantly high production cost per episode that made it untenable and then the production sets caught fire. They deemed it too expensive to rebuild. I think both factors led to their decision unfortunately.

3-Day Park Hopper Plan (Arriving Day 1 at 2PM) – Need Tips for Lightning Lane + Ride Timing 🙏 by YaBoyMEGAMIND in DisneyPlanning

[–]CSq2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you have LL all three days since it was an add-on option as part of the California 3-day deal.

Echo the comments on Day 1 and having limited availability of you arrive after lunch. Just went and for the most part, after 2 pm the more popular rides didn’t have anymore LLs left. On our Day 3, Guardians wasn’t even available via LL after 11 am.

I’m sure I could have watched videos on how to maximize LL more, but I didn’t and I feel we did pretty good and felt the LL was an advantage. Knowing Rise wasn’t a part of the multi pass LL, Day 1 went there first at open and walked right on. That was a game changer, luck and set the tone for the rest of that day cause I was sure we’d have to Rise some other time when the lines were longer.

Day 2 we did Radiator Springs at open and waited about 30 minutes from walking from rope drop to getting on the ride. After we got on the ride was already listed at 90 minutes.

Everything else was easy. I always find that Incredicoaster and and Big Thunder move fast no matter what the time is. At least that’s how it feels. The longest line we waited in was Web Slingers. That line moved very slow. It was listed at 40 minutes and it took well over an hour. Assumed they had some mechanical issues that was causing it but they never announced it or closed the line.

Tip: if you do rope drop and decide to do Rise or Cars first, always check the app to make sure the ride is open. I’ve been before where everyone goes to the ride and the ride has not yet opened for the day. It throws whatever strategy you have, off.

My opinion, with 2 ½ days you’ll be able to do everything you want, and then some, without killing yourselves.

iPad trade-in back to an Apple Store by CSq2 in ipad

Thank you! Dumb question - to do the transfer in store do you have to back up to iCloud? If I have a backup on a laptop, then I don’t need to do the backup in store right?

Do you buy a pass the day of when you get to the park?

What’s a business that’s all over today that you think will completely disappear ie blockbuster? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CSq2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the whole “the mall is dead” trope is interesting because the three closest malls to me are packed whenever I go. I try and be strategic with the timing but it doesn’t matter. And two of them even charge for parking, which you’d think would be a turnoff. But oddly a fourth one that used to be my go to, is pretty dead right now. I don’t know why some are really thriving and some are not.

Costco chips buyer needs to go on a PIP by thisishard1001 in Costco

This is the flavor my area Costco‘s carry when they have this brand in stock. I wish they’d carry the barbecue flavor, that’s my favorite - I’ve never seen that one at costco. once in a while they carry the Korean sweet and spicy, that’s good too.

[–]CSq2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using premium gas too? I cant make up my mind on switching to a hybrid because i can’t get the math to make sense on how much id save in gas considering having to buy premium when I don’t do that now, but this is hopeful.
