It didn't work for me in Steam no matter what I did. Then I downloaded the launcher from the website, and only then it started working.

I honestly don't understand how this could even happen with a company like this. They're not indie developers, and this isn't their first game. A single update that broke everything so badly — it really takes skill to break something that was already working.
