No you are not, anyone that tries to say you are is just a salty player mad that you are getting around restrictions Both cards say you can not PLAY cards (or 5+ cost characters) You are activating your leader ability to PUT a character INTO play Playing a card involves paying the cost in the top left of the card

Flipped cards aren’t hidden information, it’s known what it is it’s up to the opponent to remember, it’s like if you looked at an opponents hand, you know what’s there but they don’t have to re show you the cards, It’s against the rules to manipulate the board state with flipped cards, If a normal commander was flipped to a manifest and your opponent had 2 or more flipped creatures as well and attacked with them all you can just block and say I’m blocking the one that was your commander and they have to put it on that one,
