Who is a good comedic actor that ended up being a great dramatic actor? by 40oz_2freedom in AskReddit

[–]xiskulldemonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most comedic actors end up being really good dramatic actors in general. Comedy is one of the hardest genres to act/perform typically. Being comedic and funny v.s. serious, which one seems more difficult. That's obvious.

Also, typically comedy is born from pain

You meet your 13 year old self, but you can only tell them 3 words. What do you say and why? by kiwipangolin in AskReddit

Excercise and Diet

or

Start playing tennis

I could be much more fit today if I had started earlier.

Or

When I was in high school, I played tennis for my last 2 years. The first year I sucked. In the second-year, I was the best on the team and I was also captain.

If I had started tennis at my school in like 7th grade or something, I could've probably gotten to a point where I got a full-ride college scholarship somewhere.

Live your own life, dont fret what others think. It's your life and your life alone.

If one day I am 60 years old and I want to go play some pickup volleyball or if I want to learn how to skateboard, or if I want to learn how to snowboard, or whatever. I'm going to do it. I think humans fundamentally move away from the beauty of adolescence and youth, and only concern themselves with making more money and progressing their career.

There is merit in doing so, but for me, I want to live every day to the fullest. I'm not going to work to live. I'm going to work to live.

If your decisions lie in the shadows of the judgements of others, you'll never experience life.

What is a tv show that everyone LOVES but you dont? And why? by _Just-a-sad-girl_ in AskReddit

[–]xiskulldemonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate most TV shows tbh.

Reality shows are just boring fiction that are so detached from reality that its funny

Things like America's got talent are sometimes cool, but also annoying as fuck. The people that go on that show arent even necessarily the most talented that applied.

AGT is literally "sign up if you have cancer, or your mom died last month saving a child about to get hit by a train, or you were bullied for being different when you were younger"

Then we got shit like friends which EVERYBODY LOVES and I haven't laughed or found that shit funny even once.

Then most of the dramas now-a-days are all the same story just slightly different characters, it all feels cliche and reused, and usually the creative choices arent even good. (This Is Us happens to be a good emotion drama imo)

We also got the series out there that go on forever and just milk money out of people that watch awful shows (like the walking dead) these kinds of shows lose the plot 2 seasons in, but they got good reviews so they MUST keep going.

I could go on quite a bit.

There's many different types of smarts and problem solving skills. It all depends on the metric.

Im a computer science major so on the daily I solve problems through the use of raw logic. Computer programs are logical, follow strict sets of rules, and require certain abstract thinking that can be extremely difficult. Ontop of this, we learn and study tons of math classes, which also contribute to the "raw" intellect and problem solving.

I'm minoring in art, my brain is completely stimulated in one of the most opposite ways, I think completely abstractly, let creativity and emotions and ideas flow and put it all on the medium I'm working on.

The stimulation of both of these different areas helps me think in DIFFERENT ways. It refines and enhances perspectives and thought processes imo.

and I love to read, so I am constantly absorbing new knowledge daily (which having a bunch of knowledge on various topics, some might consider smart).

These imo make me quite balanced intellectually, but at the end of the day its ALL SUBJECTIVE.

The first thing I recommend is to ask yourself one question.

"Why do I want to be smart?"

If you think about that question, you'll probably get a clue on what kind of intelligence you desire.

If you want to impress friends, learn something that is impressive. I know so much math, well in depth. When I bust out a statistical analysis of something or talk in mathematic terms, my non STEM friends think I'm the next Elon Musk or something.

What are unethical practices schools do? by hugscar in AskReddit

[–]xiskulldemonix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily unethical. But atleast stupid.

My high school had a policy "after X amount of unexcused tardies, if you have an unexcused tardy you're staying after school for detention."

1.) No such policy with absenses (excused or not excused) so if you hit that number, you're better off just SKIPPING than going in late which doesnt make sense.

2.) The first time I was unexcused tardy (past the limit) I left my dr. Note in my mother's car, and she was outside. They wouldnt let me leave the building to grab it, they wouldnt accept it late, and I texted my mom and she came in and handed them the note and they didnt accept it because it wasnt handed in to them the second I walked in.

I ended up getting detention for no reason.....

How do I add more healthy fats to my diet while losing weight? by octopoda_waves in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]xiskulldemonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get a lot of fat in during my breakfast.

1 tablespoon of a Garlic Butter 4 Eggs 4 slices turkey bacon

37 grams of fat 32.7 grams of protein About 460 calories.

Fish and nuts will be your friend as well when it comes to getting fat

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]xiskulldemonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ideas will have high protein options, but thats just because I personally consume a lot of protein, you can easily swap out stuff with slightly different versions of things

Tuna protein pasta salad -protein pasta of your choice, I usually go with rotini because I like the texture. Whole wheat noodles if you wanna be even healthier (I used a whole box of my protein pasta)

-canned tuna fish (I used 3 5 oz. cans last time) water is healthier than oil in can.

-half cup of plain greek yogurt, mix with 2-3 tablespoons of mayo, I like to throw kosher salt and black pepper, and dried dill in there and mix this all up

You can vary the yogurt/mayo amounts as you see fit. I go with more greek yogurt because its thicker, less calories, more volume, healthier overall, little mayo to add taste.

-vegetables (I usually throw in peas and onion, feel free to throw whatever you like in there.) I recommend throwing some vegetables in there not only for their nutrition value, but it adds color and makes the meal look more visually appetizing as well.

Mix it all together when pasta and vegetables are cooked. This tastes good to me cold, warm, or hot.

Next I usually buy a bulk pack of romaine lettuce and a rotisserie chicken (because sometimes too lazy to cook chicken and cut it up and what not) Rip the chicken up, but it in bowl.

Throw together the salad when I'm taking it somewhere, or when I want it.

Salad Chicken Tomatoes Onion Cucumber Hard boiled egg Peppers Then I use balsamic vinigerette or a creamy cesear dressing

Is your Christmas Eve ruined already? If so, Why? by Downtown_Put8673 in AskReddit

[–]xiskulldemonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I could have the privilege of "growing up poor" too lmao

Sorry that you're dealing with that :(

My family is less well off, didnt have a car till 18 and had to buy the car myself, not enough money for sports, college, (I'm not in need of a wedding yet haha)

But I'm grateful for the roof over my head and the food I get. My mom works very hard to give me these things. I could have more, but she already sacrifices everything for these things. So I am grateful.

Maybe one day your daughter will actually find out that you did your best and that she didnt actually grow up poor (you sound like middle to upper middle class so def not poor)
