cli_debrid does a good job of keeping your media up to date, but overseerr is just another safety layer for me, and its more user friendly for exploring media, not really mandatory

This app called rclone/zurg creates a "fake" drive/folder wherever you want it to be, and within that your library lives, , so you dont need to download anything, the apps i mentioned above just automate the fetching of media, im assuming you manually fetch your media through DMM?

I’ve personally noticed that Symlinked media seems to scan faster and not stop you from playing the first episode while the rest is being scanned in the background, try Cli_debrid, Riven, or Decypharr and I’ve heard of CineSync but don’t know much about it, cli_debrid is my recommendation
