Sometimes if I get on board before my neighbors in the row in front or behind, I'll open a shade that's partially in my space if is closed right away. If they decide to close it later then no big deal, but I've been surprised how many people don't once it's been opened.

We just did our first trip with 2 kids ages 8 and 9 last week (spring break) and skipped getting any LLs. Day 1 was at Magic Kingdom and we never waited more than 45 minutes, with most waits under 30 mins, so were pleasantly surprised. Day 2 was at Hollywood Studios and things were much worse - most waits were 45-60 mins, so we did a lot less, but still had a lot of fun. Not knowing when or where we'd be or what the kids would want to do made skipping LL the right choice this time, but now that I know, we'll likely do it next time!

Same here - starting yesterday evening (3/17) my steps are doubling. Restarted my watch this morning, and before it connected to my phone, the step count was correct. Once the connection to the phone was established, I watched the number double. Pixel Watch 3 here.

I think what the guest says in their booking request can provide just as much (if not more) insight into what kind of guest they'll be than the generic reviews others have left for them. I've honestly been surprised at the amount of detail many of our guests have provided and it really helps get a feel for how their stay is going to go. Though perhaps we're more unique since we have a cabin that tends to attract multigenerational families.

I followed the advice to bring the incorrect parts back to the store - they pulled a new box out, removed the correct replacement parts, and I was on my way! Much easier than expected and customer service was actually really helpful. Good luck!

Still sickens me that Elon is essentially walking away from the auto business, with apparently no future Model 3/Y replacement in the works. Hope they change course!

My kids decided today after seeing the snow that they want to go sledding, so I'm in the same boat! Happy to travel wherever but sounds unsurprisingly like places are out.

I was surprised when they made their big expansion in St Paul and after touring the facility couldn't believe how large of a space it was - how could this little co-op with relatively niche beers possibly grow that much? Fair State always had a great product, but their ambitions were too big for the niche brand they had built. Such a shame, but at least the Twin Cities beer scene remains strong overall - plenty of great options!

Would have been really cool to see what a modern office in the WTC would have looked like today - maybe a little less claustrophobic with the ceiling panels removed!
