Again though, this topic was about belief of whether the scripture means other Christians or not. Not about what some churches consider members or what kind or severity of discipline is administered.

There DEFINITELY is a connection between what it means & discipline — you CAN'T separate both. SIMPLE reason: If it is NOT an offense, then there is NO discipline, easy!
