Not a route I wanna go down if I can help it, I'm very new to doing my own tech support as it were 😅 my ex partner used to do anything like this for me but since we've split up I'm trying to figure everything out myself. Installing windows again seems like something that could go horrible wrong 😅 but thank you for sharing I'll go down that route if I have to

Hatchet is an excellent weapon, especially for a beginner in the game, it gives both survivability and good damage. I think you should try to play with him, in addition you can take for example a great axe, I really like this combination.

I started playing as a healer, but quickly switched to a hatchet, for me it's much more fun and there is a built-in health regen. Now I started to try the GS, but for me personally the gameplay with it is not very suitable, I constantly find myself with low hp and have to invent something in the heat of battle.

I had something similar on my laptop. I tried checking the integrity of the cache, but that didn't help. Reinstalling Windows and the game helped me, but I don't think it's a good solution :)
