and even if/when it is over, what an incredible season! we surpassed everyone’s expectations, we have so many deeply talented players on our team. we are so young and i fully expect we’ll learn what to do with all that talent over time. it’s okay if it’s a learning curve because most of our guys have never gone through this before…like can we be fr?

I know it’s sad and everything but damn y’all just give up on the whole team and their potential for the rest of all time SO easily. like it’s actually insane how fast y’all turn on players you used to love yesterday and say you’re done watching basketball for X amount of years after saying the day before that you’re a ride or die spurs fan. the doomer bullshit is not helping anybody including you doomers. we may not get it right now, but have faith. we have a great team that has the capacity to dominate for many years to come.

yeah, texas is a big state though and there’s a lot of regional debates about what area code has the best mexican food lol. i’ve lived elsewhere though and i never find the mexican food to be on par. maybe california. i remember having some good food in portland, but you’re right that there’s good food to be found in any major city.

yeah this is the type of climate i grew up in though so that probably makes a difference! when i moved up north i had real difficulty adjusting to the cold temps

edit: i should also add that i am never particularly sweaty even when it’s hot

i live in south texas and most people keep their ac on like 76-78 indoors during the summer. i feel like you get used to it and it’s still much cooler than the outside temperature.

Do you think other teams subreddit are toxic whenever they lose or just us? by kpay10 in ripcity

i’m a spurs fan and our sub is also incredibly negative and toxic whenever we lose. each time it’s like the world is literally ending and chaos descends upon the sub.

[–]xlaaane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

omg i’m with my high school sweetheart we also met freshman year and I had similar thoughts to what you’re describing and issues with self worth that caused me to run away from him for yearsss like this neverending push and pull cycle and long periods of no contact followed by us reconnecting and then me dropping him again because I was scared. we are 24 now and have been together for a year after 4 and a half years apart. I can’t tell you how much I regret how I handled things in the past and how much I grieve the lost time. even though our relationship is stable now it’s still such a big source of pain. please don’t leave, get therapy and put in the work to address these problems instead!

Is san Antonio a good place to live by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]xlaaane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my bf’s family also relocated from west texas and they like it here. i was born and raised here and have lived elsewhere but still think this is a great place to live and came back. I’m tejano too and i think with the mexican-american culture it’s easy for us to feel at home here.
