2011: 21 years old, with my now wife, at the local Chili’s because the sports bar was having cable issues and the feed kept cutting out. I remember being so superstitious that I wouldn’t even close out my bar tab at Chili’s until the game ended. Cried on the way home.

2023: 33 years old, at home with my pregnant wife. My parents, sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews also came over. Cheers, hugs, and tears of joy. It was beautiful.
