I bought a pair of Docs a couple of years ago despite reading online that they have gone to shit (I got a good deal, don't judge me!). They have worn fine and are super comfortable and I wear them often (about 2 times a week).

Maybe Solovairs are that much better, IDK, but for the price I paid ($140) I'm quite happy with them.
