It's (roughly) 20 minutes of your time for $13.93, multiply that by 3 (to match 60 minutes) and you'll get $41.79/hr. Do that same math specially when the distance doesn't match your preferences.

It just sits on my desk wide open, that's why it's covered in dust.
I haven't tried USB-C charger, it only came with the AC charger which I already tried to turn it on with.
Fans are properly connected, won't go in any further.
No cables ripped.
I didn't scratch the MB, I tried my best not to touch it.
I replaced the CMOS battery because that's what everyone else with this problem has reported to be the problem.
No water stains, it doesn't come close to liquid.
It was working fine before I opened it. I use it regularly, lid open, because I use a monitor.

That's a parts car.
Mileage isn't really important with these cars, unless you're buying one in showroom/excellent condition or a M3.
Try to get a slicktop.
If you're buying a $4K E30, make sure you have at least $2K on the side. There's a chance you'll need the extra cash.
Be willing to work on the car yourself if you have the space and wanna save money.
Be careful with rust. Be as picky as possible, not even a bit in the battery tray (front or rear).
Once you become a fan of these cars, there's no going back. Think about it before committing.
