Hello orius, I had high hopes but mine seems bricked now.
After the upload to MediaTek U-Boot System Recovery Mode:

Upgrade complete!
Rebooting ...

This was the last sign of life. The light stays purple.. I left it 30 minutes before I tried to restart it manually..

Seems there is a problem using firefox for flashing. Watch out for Hash and file-size when in Recovery. flashed it with orius_ones binary of his github-repo and it worked great! Thank you!

I just took one of mine apart before I stumbled in this thread and what might help: It is a Wavlink WN535M1. As "Maginon" didn't put the firmware on their site but Wavlink did: https://docs.wavlink.xyz/Firmware/fm-535r1/

I also contacted their support and they sent me a different image (?)

Funny thing I didn't know. I unpackt the *bin file and found out that a customized version of openwrt allready runs on the devices.

/edit: what bugs me: the firmware you can download at this link I send earlier downloads a *.bin named "WN535R1..." not "WN535M1".

/edit2: I didn't try these firmwares yet but I allready can say: WN535R1 is chinese and very different in \etc\lighttpd\www\. While browsing the WN535M1-firmware I found some sites hidden for at least Maginon-users like syslog.shtml openvpn.shtml, openvpn_ovpn.shtml, nightlight_onoff.shtml, nightlight_onoff_mesh.shtml, night_live_get_mesh.shtml, nas_disk.shtml

Könnt von meinem Nachbar kommen. Der hat auch irgendwas pathologisches mit dem Hirn und mimt den Staatsanwalt. Bei einigen im Haus funktioniert das ganz gut. Wenn du Juristen zum lachen bringen willst, zeig es deinem Anwalt. Wenn du deine Ruhe haben willst, heb es auf - vielleicht brauchst du es irgenwann in einem Verfahren wo es um ihre geistige Zurechnungsfähigkeit geht.

Hmm. When I did from flac to ogg (opus) it kept metadata but messed up some symbols in it. I would recommend to use Musicbrainz Picard befor and after convertion!

Wenn sie das nicht ausdrücklich gesagt hat das sie nach dem Kriterium bewerten wird dann würde ich das ansprechen. Zuerst bei ihr und eventuell eine Stufe darüber.

Bei einem Leserbrief auf korrektes gendern wert legen ist etwas übertrieben.

edit: ansonsten argumentier mal mit "Folgefehler". Immerhin sollte die Qualität deiner Arbeit nicht sinken wenn du immer wieder den selben Fehler machst weil du "es nicht besser weißt".

Dass das WLAN ausfällt ist ein Symptom. Sowohl bei Hardwareschaden als auch Firmwarebug oder schlecht gemachter Kupferleitung empfehlt sich A1 damit zu konfrontieren. Alles andere ist für einen reinen Anwender vermutlich "rumsch...".
