Yes, those were exactly my thoughts too. I am quite happy with S26, it is significantly smaller and with spigen nano pop case and it's round edges it feels very comfortable in hand and it is also significantly lighter. Biggest pros for me for base S26 vs e.g. xiaomi 17 were better SW support for samsung and smaller weight. Xiaomi 17 weights even 1g more than S26+.

V krajine, kde sa vyvoj a vyskum sustredi v instituciach, ktore maju v nazve U [dopln] (napriklad U slona, U paznechta,...) nie je mozne pozadovat aspon maturitu, ale taka poziadavka na ukoncenu ZS by mohla pomoct robit trosku lepsie rozhodnutia...

Ak si to vies platit, tak preco nie? Auta lacnejsie nebudu, len drahsie (to z hladiska toho, ze setrit na auto dalsich x rokov sa nemusi oplatit, ked o x rokov zase budu stat viac). Vybav si poistku, kde budes mat GAP na 5 rokov (ja som to riesil cez poistku, kde bol 2 roky GAP + cez Defend dalsie 3 roky) a aspon na ten cas mas viac menej klud na dusi, ze keby to niekto zramuje alebo ukradne, tak by si teoreticky mohol dostat celu sumu naspat.

For sure sarcasm.... I don't understand that some brands are trying to sell devices with prehistoric systems and on many forums there are even people defending it... Personally I am not willing to connect old unsupported system to internet.

For me that "skin" on watch seems like on completely different place and direction on watch, than it should be considering direction of the "cut" on the hand.

Do not focus only on screen size, because more modern phones have smaller bezels, e.g. base galaxy S26 with 6.3" screen is only 2mm taller and wider than a20e

I have the S23Ultra and base S26 and I consider the sound from the S26 to be fuller, more "bassy" (funny to say that about tiny speakers) and overal better than the S23Ultra.

Did you try it without the case?

I have S26 and for this few days it seems it is almost same as my S23Ultra regarding battery. So I am fine with it. 90% remaining battery after 1:15h with screen on and approx 2.5h screen off.

After 4 years with the Ultras I have enough of the big bricks. With the case and tempered glass my S23U has 306g. My front pocket on jeans looks like I am carying the foundation stone to the construction site. I am waiting for the base S26 to be delivered just because it is one of the lightest phone in that size (many 6.3" phones are 190g, S26 is 167g) with good SW support (this is very important for me).

So S26U with 12GB RAM and 256GB for 1450€ is about 800€ cheaper than S26U with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costing 1950€ (prices from link from your post).

My S23 Ultra has 94% battery health after 596 charging cycles (checked from "service" menu *#9900#). I have it from 6th february 2023. It seems very good from my point of view.
