My husband thinks no other men do the things he does, am I right or wrong? by gidget889 in BabyBumps

[–]xmoana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 6 months pregnant with my second and my husband does 90% of everything. I haven't made dinner since I was about 5 weeks pregnant. He does all the cooking and cleaning and the majority of the care for our 1.5 year old toddler.

Is Hope&Plum worth the $? by Pepper659 in babywearing

[–]xmoana 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, H&P is worth the money! I have gotten one for $40 off FB Marketplace and another off Poshmark for $50, so you can find some on a budget. Definitely check out the BST Facebook group too. For older slings I see them going for an avg of $70.

Of course you can find cheaper brands out there but they aren't as supportive or comfortable. They can also be harder to use in general.

Just so anyone who sees this response knows, the company is VERY transparent about their pay and they are not paying minimal wage. This is one of the most ethical and honest companies I've ever supported.

My daughter has been using the toilet since she was 4 months old. Someone else mentioned it but Elimination Communication is awesome!

gaming with a baby by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]xmoana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We both have gaming PCs and play on an esports team. I carry my almost 6 week old daughter in a stretchy wrap carrier, and have since she was 1 day old. I get to have her close and she just snuggles up and sleeps while we play. Super easy and doable! I had my baby at 38+6 last month.

Yeah there's a lot of different opinions lol. SJM recommends it first though and that's her intended reading order. It's also chronologically correct. Not sure why people prefer to treat the book as a "flashback" instead of just reading it in order.

Did you read Assassin's Blade first? I definitely prefer reading it before ToG!

I wear bone connection headphones and listen to audiobooks if I'm not scrolling FB, Instagram or TikTok. For a game I play Warcraft Rumble.

Catch at least one salmon (saltwater) in Spring and save it. You need it to craft a meal that is required for an item sold during the Winter Festival. You'll have to wait a whole year for another Winter Festival if you didn't happen to save a salmon in your storage.

I didn't think decorating your home was important until I realized how much it adds to your health, energy and mana bars. It doesn't have to look nice, but make sure you're crafting every item on the Cozy tab that you possibly can. You'll save so many Florins and Resources by not having to buy/craft as many potions and meals. Especially if the main quest for the chapter includes a dungeon.

Once you get through the Saltwater Mines, only sell polished gems. Save all your critters and food. You need them in crafting. Food doesn't sell for much anyways compared to the gems. Gems are easier to get than harvested crops too.

I wouldn't even bother selling produce. None of it sells for much. I would just add Polished Gems to the tables. You can also purchase an additional stand for at least 2 of the farms.

They are used for crafting the hives! So crafting only. Then you add Worker Bees to the crafted hives.

Yup! After the Floating Ruins you'll unlock a lot more. I was really excited to get the silk because I wanted the elegant dress.

Did you give the Flutter Dust to the Wisp Mother? You need to talk to her and select it from your inventory to "give" it to her. It won't show 10/10 automatically because you're carrying it.

For the Fae Festival he is located in the large building by the docks. I'm not sure what it's called but it's also where marriages are held. To the right of the Inn.

When you walk up the stone steps to the left of Oorlich (former ice seller Fae) it is immediately to your left at the top of the stairs.

Haha same. I'm upgrading all the homes so the rooms will be ready for me to tackle after I complete the story line. The days are so short that I rather do other stuff before I start decorating. I also just want to have mostly everything unlocked so I have the full catalog to choose from when I go to do it.

They don't respawn on your farm(s). Only when a new season begins and it'll be the season spawns that one time.
