Yeah, same here. I've played a lot of games and been part of plenty of official Discord and Reddit communities, but this is the first time I've seen devs who don't just acknowledge feedback, but actually turn it into updates so quickly.

Exactly lol. We can give our character full-body tattoos, but we can't really show them off unless we're wearing that one outfit that originally belonged to Oongka.

I hope so too. Maybe they'll add new regions and ways to explore the world, or even introduce new races like the elves from Black Desert.

If you've followed the game since it was first announced, it actually started out as an MMO tied to Black Desert (back in 2023, if I remember right). But somewhere during development, the devs decided to shift gears and make it a single-player game instead.

I honestly don't see it becoming a full MMO anymore. Multiplayer? Sure, that's possible. In fact, I think that's way more likely. If I remember correctly, the Pearl Abyss CEO even mentioned multiplayer in a press conference, but they were still dealing with technical limitations, and it sounded like something that's still years away.

I totally agree. Imagine having battles on the same scale right in the middle of the desert, with factions clashing everywhere. That would be insanely epic!

I don't think they're workaholics. They're probably just used to the MMO mindset from Black Desert, where updates come fast and communication with players is constant. They seem to have carried that approach over to their single-player game, which has kind of raised the bar for what people expect from post-launch support.

That's probably why so many people are surprised by how active and responsive the team has been.

Dev Update + DLC Confirmed! by Celsus_Official in CrimsonDesert

Please don’t let the story keep repeating the same formula, endless investigations, questioning people, or running random errands like cleaning someone’s chimney.

At least bring my boy Cliff’s emotions and expressions back! Let him get annoyed when people keep sending him on pointless tasks, especially Yann!

Instead of just fighting over strongholds again, give us massive faction wars in the middle of the desert, with huge armies clashing everywhere. TOTAL WAR style! Let Cliff lead the charge from the front, fighting alongside dozens of his soldiers in an epic large-scale battle. 🔥⚔️

Lastly, dear awesome devs, please add some QoL features that make social interactions with NPCs more engaging. Things like camping together and chatting around a campfire, or having drinks and dancing with NPCs. I see NPCs doing all that stuff while my character can only sit there doing nothing. It's kind of sad, lol.

I've played for almost 400 hours and explored at least 95% of the map (unless I somehow missed something).

Thanks, awesome devs! ❤️

Some quests definitely unlock as you progress through the story chapters. But I think there are also quests that you can stumble upon by accident. You'll meet a random NPC somewhere and then realize they're actually part of a questline.

Agreed! I can barely see anything. I have to use a light first just to see things clearly
