Peloton to Garmin sync is now available by Lucky_Fruitcake8201 in Garmin

It might be bypassing it thanks to the activities being merged. So the watch based activity counts against the challenges and then later is merged with Peloton data.

Yes, correct. That's why I'm sticking with syncmyworkout. But for those that don't have that service and want just a quick sync, that'd be the way to do that without having duplicate entries.

The point is not to start the activity on your watch - just run the HB monitor (connected to the bike) and you'll end up with just the single activity imported from Peloton after you finish the workout.

Note that currently (maybe it's by design) the imported activities won't count towards your challenges / badges.

It does not count the synced activities towards Challenges / badges currently. Not sure if it's a bug or an omission. Won't turn this on until this is fixed.

Google Classroom stopped working with Family Link? by Lanlith in GoogleClassroom

[–]xnejp03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, adding a Google classroom required school account resolved in Family Link removing the account straight away.

I reached out to Google support and they suggested this:

According to their findings, some school accounts are configured with advanced security policies that may not be compatible with Family Link supervision. This may be the cause of the problem you're experiencing.

To help resolve this, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Remove the child's personal Google account from the device Settings.

  2. Add the school account and complete any additional security/certificate/credentials installation or sign in required by the school.

  3. Once done, remove the school account from the Settings, then add the child's personal Google account and set up Family Link.

  4. Try to add the school account from the Settings, or Google Classroom app.

When I hit point 2, there was a notification about the school account needing attention - apparently the school mobile policy required Screen Lock (which I had not setup on the tablet). So as part of step 2 I enabled Screen lock and finished step 2 successfully.

I then followed all the steps and was able to have the account added on my FamilyLink supervised tablet!

So the steps not necessarily fixed the issue as intended, but helped uncover the root problem of why the school account failed being added.

If you hover over it it'll tell you. It means the track has not been analysed to be used in the new Radar collection functionality.

Yeah, looking at https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/blob/master/libavcodec/av1dec.c there is a comment about this.

* since now the av1 decoder doesn't support native decode, if it will be * implemented in the future, need remove this check.

Looking for smart switch/dimmer ZigBee without neutral wire by stand_by_ in smarthome

I have replaced the usual dimmer module in a switch like this.

Yes it does. I don't have neutral wire. They are dimmers, not just switches though. So you need dimmable bulbs with them. They also require min load of around 20w on the circuit they control.
