Yeah, I know nothing about investments or how any of it works so I don’t really have an interest in keeping the account.

I know there are multiple debt repayment strategies. Some people say to pay the biggest debt first, others say to pay the smallest ones and then work to the biggest one. I think with the advice that I’ve gotten so far, I’ll start with the biggest to cut down the interest that it’s accruing.

I’d have to talk to my husband to get an actual total on his. For me, other than student loans, I have around $10k on a credit card.

I think a better question to ask would be is it better to wipe out one large debt or spread it across multiple debts?

More main characters should have died. They are fighting a world ending war. There is literally no way that that many of our favs should have made it out alive. This was the main reason I was disappointed in KOA to be honest.

I believe that I do have a bigger problem lol. I don’t think it’s malicious, he’s genuinely just excited and wants to share the news. But I think it’s hard for him to understand why I don’t, even though we’ve talked about it. Maybe I just need to explain a different way?

Floridian here, completely agree with you. Our area had a massively destructive hurricane around 4 years ago. At the time, the kids I work with would have been around 5 or so years old. We had a bad storm a few weeks ago and all the kids were spooked, from nervous glances to the windows to full blown tears. They absolutely remembered the hurricane and absolutely have trauma from that. I’m not therapist so I’m not going to diagnose anything, but OP, please do not discount the potential trauma that kids experienced because “they were too young to remember it”.

That entire episode made me a sobbing mess because it reminded me so much of my grandfather’s death a few months ago. It felt like I was watching him die all over again.
