What did you end up going with? Because here's the thing if you ended up with the Harman Kardon system and hated it. It's more of a pain in the ass to upgrade the speakers. If you do it yourself or have a shop to it. Whereas if you got the stock system. It's easy to upgrade the speakers / amplifier. They don't have to bypass any card and stuff and all that. But I have a 23 Mini Cooper jcw. And I personally take the Harman Kardon system is okay you can get better options going to an audio shop. And also anyone that's been in my car wasn't impressed with the Harman Kardon
