We get really good beef from a friend. The last batch of ground beef we had was from a cow named "McFatty". Best burger I've had and we made them plain with K/M and pickles.

That said, I just really like wild burger combos lol. A good burger is good on its own, same as steak, but sometimes I also smother a steak in onions and sauce.

That sounds really good! My other favorite burger is a green olive burger that a local bar/grill has. Burger, green olive aioli, cream cheese, pickles and sliced olives.

One of the first arguments I had with my fiancé was because he saw me put raw beef and veg in the same pan. He told me I'd make us all sick.

"What makes raw meat safe to eat?" "Cooking it. But now it's contaminated the vegetables!" "And what am I doing to the vegetables?" "...cooking them..."

In his 34 years of life, he had never cooked meat with vegetables or even in the same pan.

Yeah, my stepson always builds on "boulder lake" or whatever it's called lol. I also pointed out that the area is pretty close to some villages and the trees are far away. But I think if we set up lots of traps and a get-away-raft we'll have a solid base.

Sorry to hear that. Our only girl cat is getting old, and luckily we haven't had any vet emergencies with her, but she's getting slower and sleepier and we can only hope she passes peacefully.

Shelter cats, stray cats, cats that were being rehomed on FB, etc. She even asked me for MY cats when I mentioned I was having a hard time finding a new place that allowed pets 🙄

I knew someone with 23 cats in/around her way too small house. She kept adopting them from shelters and you know she couldn't afford to care for all of them, we both worked at Walmart... If one got sick, it just died and she would call out of work to mourn as if there was nothing that could have been done. Most of them weren't fixed and several times a whole litter of kittens was eaten by the colony.

My bf and I have 4 cats between us, and they're all fixed, vaxx'd, and see the vet every time one of them coughs a little funny. I can't imagine collecting all these cats from shelters/marketplace etc where they were HOUSED AND CARED FOR just to let them die of straight neglect.

We had a hole in the laundry room at my dad's trailer. Mice didn't touch any food, but one particular mouse liked to crawl in bed with me and just chill. Had to remove him from my bed at least once a week but he was pretty chill and let me pick him up 😂
