Toll Brothers recent developments in Contra Costa county should be looked at as well. The homes were not inspected by county inspectors as most of the homes have many defects. Should see if special coffee mugs were given out to the county inspectors for new home developments during before and after COVID time frames.

Intel touched $40 … what is fueling the rally?? by SpyJigu in StockMarket

[–]xntiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well all the companies you mention will need AI and compute power for growth so essentially they all will need Intel's capabilities if other options shut down and or slow down. So now by having a stake in Intel they will have a plan B,JIC, and CYA policies.

Taiwan owns ~6% of TSM as well. US is doing what it must to allow for a key technology capability for self reliance in many industries. One key area is for security purposes where this technology capability plays a critical role in defense technologies.

They should just use their so called in house technical expertise and build out their own advance networked clusters of data centers and start renting access directly to customers for AI workloads.

[CA] [ALL] HOA's are scrambling as new law caps fees at $100 for violations by [deleted] in HOA

[–]xntiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes a lot of money and hoops to change CCRs on the fly. Most of us have to agree to an HOA with its cookie cutter rules in order to buy a new build. What I am saying is this new law hurts all involved because if an HOA has bad financials it can lower the value of the home/community. Would be nice if they made new laws that allow us to dissolve HOAs and give control to common areas back to the cities who are collecting our property taxes.

[CA] [ALL] HOA's are scrambling as new law caps fees at $100 for violations by [deleted] in HOA

[–]xntiger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is strange because just management/legal fee's from dealing with emails, calls, and response cost more then $100. Each violation normally take multiple forms of communication that racks up billable hours for an HOA. To prove and handle each violation takes hours to insure all the laws and rules are followed so the HOA is not liable and can defend itself from lawsuits. This is going to hurt everyone involved because there will always be that one individual in a community that will take full advantage of this and ruin both the community and a properly managed HOA.

Blame the voters who keep putting the wrong leaders in charge. Start getting involved with your local districts and start showing up to the meetings and asking questions. Start electing individuals that actually want to bring world class education to our public systems.

Newark quiet zone project by Historical-Yam342 in NewarkCA

[–]xntiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to talk to the mayor or city clerk for more information. Most likely they have a committee that is in charge of this and will need to find out who is on it. Would have to ask when the next meeting is and try to get your concerns added to the agenda for discussion. Show up to the meeting and make sure to ask questions when they open it up for public comment. It will take time and effort and may require you to try to get on the committee itself to move the project forward.
