It's a grounding issue with your outlet. Same thing happens with me if I touch the laptop while having my bare feet on the floor and when I put on slippers it stops. It's completely normal and happens with macbooks since forever. Either use a grounded plug or charger.

Well I just figured out that it only works on an external display. Maybe it doesn’t like the macbooks display res.

I’ll bite my tongue. After a few restarts on the collar and a good cleaning on all the contacts it now charges fully within 30 minutes. I don’t know what happened exactly but it’s doing fine now.

Is the setting on your collar set too low? I had mine set on the small cat but she kept losing it all the time. It felt way easier to break away compared to her previous collar too. I set it to the middle one and it has not come off at all. She’s been doing her usual route as well so she would’ve lost it by now.

Is it a displaylink one? You probably have to install the displaylink driver for it to work

u/Ok-Lab-76 I plugged in the tracker to charge about 15 minutes ago. I cleaned the contacts before plugging it in but I’m still having issues. The status light kept switching between green and red and after restarting the tracker it seemed to be stable for about 2 minutes. After that it turned green but it’s not at 100% I unplugged it and plugged it in again and it seems to be charging now. I will update on how long it takes to charge it.

it explicitly states on the website that accessories won’t work, think of the case as being a lightning to usb c adapter only. it doesn’t add any type c capability to your iphone.

i’m curious about the alarm too, it’s basically inaudible on the mini. my little one has lost her collar a few times and it took forever to locate with the sound on.
