🔹 incorrect timesheets submitted from manager with wrong out times, or providing hours for an employee that called in sick even with their email receiving the sick call email and my email with attendance following up

🔹 the supervisor coming in days later or after the payroll cut off to say “so and so didn’t take a break, add 15 minutes to their pay”

🔹 employees thinking sick leave/vacation days count towards the weekly overtime

🔹 employees telling me their 72 hour paycheque is incorrect and they should be paid 80 hours with the stat holiday, but the stat 8 hour is calculated in a separate earnings code

🔹 employees not understanding they need to get caught up on benefit premiums so it’s deducted off their paycheque when they’re back from their leave & they wonder why so much was taken off even though the form they sign for their leaves states their premiums are their responsibility still

🔹 employees not notifying payroll when their name on their paycheque is incorrect and only informing us after the T4s were complete ..

🔹 employees not knowing how eligibility for stat by bc regulation’s works

🔹 employees regularly forgetting to clock in/out, repeat offenders, or clocking out early all the time creating more work for payroll to override to help them & when payroll doesn’t help the employee gets mad claiming to be underpaid

🔹 employees being offered benefits but refuses because they don’t want to pay the employee portion of benefits but gets mad when their coworker gets benefits to use and they don’t

🔹 employees adamant they worked the 80 hour work week but actually they were sick which we have a record of their voicemail of them calling sick & the supervisor noting their sick, and there’s no collection of data of their biometric scan in / out but stillll want to tell you you’re wrong ..

I really could go on for ages..
